Just downwind from the breaking surf one can walk for miles along the beach, the sea to one side while thriving Tel Aviv and Jaffa beckon from the other side. Bring your camera, a blanket, sun lotion and water and enjoy the people-watching, salt air and general ambiance of one of the Mediterraneans’ best beach cities. Later, walk a few hundred meters and take your pick from the cities vast array of restaurants, cafes and bars.
